No GitHub? No problem. We'll walk you through it.

Wikispring works best when your memory documents live in a GitHub repository (this gives you native version history, easy local editing, and full control). But you don't need to have one ready today.

Two main paths:
1. Best experience (recommended): Sign up or log in with GitHub on the main page. We'll create a dedicated private repo just for your memory documents immediately.
2. Start with email: Create an account here first. We still create a dedicated private GitHub repo for you right away (associated with your email). You can connect your GitHub account later to swap it over (OAuth + username).

Option 1: Use GitHub (strongly recommended)

This is the cleanest path. You get a dedicated private GitHub repo created for you automatically, with no access to any of your existing project code.

← Go back to the main page and use "Continue with Google" (or email signup below)

Option 2: Start with email (we'll help you add GitHub later)

Use this if you don't have a GitHub account yet, or you'd rather not connect one right now.

What happens if you sign up with email first?

You can connect GitHub at any time from your account. The email path just means the repo starts under your Wikispring email until you swap it.
